The Court
of Saint Mary of Walsingham, also known as the Patriarchal and Royal
Florentine Household, is the patriarchal household in the Anglican
Patriarchate (See of St. Stephen, Anglican Rite Roman Catholic
Church). Its name is derived as a combination of two titles
pertaining to Our Lady, Santa Maria Antiqua and Our Lady of
Walsingham, the Patroness of English-speaking Catholics and the
medieval Patroness of England. Our Lady of Walsingham is also the
Patroness of the Patriarchal Household, and for this reason, her
sceptre of three lilies is seen in the insignia
of the Patriarchal See.
