the most solemn blessing within the Anglican Patriarchate and derives
from various earlier forms and customs. In promotion of the unity
through history and faith of the diverse patriarchat, it is given by
the Florentine Archfather on Easter, Christmas, and at other special
occasions throughout the year. In addition to other occasions at the
discretion of the Archfather, it is commonly given also on Holy
Thursday, the Feast of the Invention of St. Stephen, the Feast of
Saint Mark, the Ascension, the Feast of Sts. Peter and Paul, and the
Feast of the Assumption.
blessing incorporates the Apostolic Blessing with Plenary Indulgence,
under the usual conditions for indulgences. It is typically preceded
by an allocution and replaces the previous set Patriarchal
Allocutions throughout the year. The blessing also typically includes
messages and/or greetings in the seven official languages of the
Anglican Patriarchate other than Latin.

authority we trust, intercede for us before the Lord.

Archangel, Saint John the Baptist, the holy apostles Peter and Paul,
and all the saints, may Almighty God have mercy on you and forgive
all your sins, and may Jesus Christ bring you to everlasting life.

remission of all your sins, a season of true and fruitful penance, a
well-disposed heart, amendment of life, the grace and comfort of the
Holy Spirit and final perseverance in good works.
