MEMBERSHIP

The clergy of the Patriarchate of St. Stephen, Anglican Rite Roman Catholic Church, and all its suffragan jurisdictions are, by virtue of the special duty of the Patriarchate, Servants of Our Lady of Walsingham in Italy (SOLWI). Similarly, all Companions, both clerical and lay, of the Noble Company of St. Mary of Walsingham are members.

Priests of other jurisdictions in Catholic Apostolic Succession in good standing with their Bishop may apply to be Priest Associates of the SOLWI. Deacons may likewise apply to be Deacon Associates.* The laity of such jurisdictions may apply to be Members. Associate Membership is an offering of US$10.00 per year. All associate members receive a certificate and are remembered at various masses of the Patriarchate. Membership enquiries should be sent here.

DUTIES OF PRIEST ASSOCIATES

Say a mass in honor of Our Lady of Walsingham once per month.
Say the Angelus daily (or the Regina Coeli in Paschaltide).
Pray the Rosary at least once weekly.
Seek the intercession of Our Lady for the people of Italy, England, and the re-unification of Christendom.
Honor the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God, deepening faith in the incarnation of Our Lord.
Promote devotion to Our Lady.
Promote pilgrimage to the Roman Catholic and Anglican Shrines at Walsingham.
Seek holiness of life through prayer, sacred study, and the sacraments.

DUTIES OF DEACON ASSOCIATES & ASSOCIATE MEMBERS

Assist at a mass in honor of Our Lady of Walsingham once per month.

* The SOLWI follows traditional Catholic doctrine that the Holy Orders of Bishop, Priest, Deacon, and Sub-Deacon, as well as the Minor Orders may only validly be held by males.
